Taking Pictures You can take pictures using the viewfinder or you can take pictures with the LCD screen to see a preview of how your image will appear. Before you start taking pictures, you need to make sure the lens cap is removed, the batteries are installed, and the CompactFlash memory card is installed and formatted, as described earlier in this book.
