Inserting Batteries Inserting Batteries Lightly press down on the arrow and slide the 1 battery cover open. 1 Insert two AAA alkaline batteries, observing the correct polarity. 2 2 Close the battery cover completely. The time and date should be set to ease file management tasks. The time and date setting is also needed to perform the alarm playback function ( P.20). Recording Modes (MOdE) Recording Modes (MOdE) You can select from among three recording modes: HQ (High Quality) mode, SP (Standard Playback) mode and LP (Long Playback) mode.
