GETTING STARTED CONNECTING TO YOUR HOME NETWORK The MS-1 system will need both wireless and wired access to your home network. The wired access is required to establish the MS-1 music server connection while the wireless connection allows your iPhone, iPod Touch, or iPad to interface with the MS-1 as a remote control device. OPERATION LISTENING TO MUSIC You can now browse the music library and start listening. Use the bar on the right side of the remote control device screen to jump to a specific letter in the list. If it is available, album art will display on the NOW PLAYING screen. Use the volume slider to control the listening level of the audio sent to your DAC. Press and release the MS-1 power button to initiate shutdown of the system. If the server will not respond to the remote or will not turn off with a single power button press, a “hard reset” is in order.
