When installed with the IVCK chimney accessory kit, the hood can be installed at a height of 30” to 36” in kitchens with ceiling heights ranging from 8-1/2 to 10 feet. BEFORE INSTALLING HOOD CEILING PREPARATION Installing supports above ceiling drywall. NOTE: Take into consideration the hood depth; some models are much deeper than the cook top.
