CONNECTING TO GAS SUPPLY INSTALLING HEATER WARNING WARNING ICON G 001 Continued A qualified service person must connect heater to gas supply. Follow all local codes. IMPORTANT: Check gas line pressure at gas meter before connecting heater to gas line. Gas line pressure must be no greater than 14 inches of water. Installation must include a manual shutoff valve, ground joint union, plugged 1/8" INSTALLING NPT tap, and a sediment trap. Locate NPT tap within reach for test gauge hook up.
