10 Getting started Back cover Removing the back cover Remove the back cover to access the battery compartment, SIM card slot, and storage card slot. Make sure to switch off myTouch 4G Slide before removing the back cover. 1. Turn off myTouch 4G Slide and hold it securely with the front facing down. 2. Lift the back cover from the notch at the bottom of the back panel to remove it.

12 Getting started SIM card The SIM card contains your phone number, service details, and phonebook/message memory. Both 1.8V and 3V SIM cards can be used. Inserting the SIM card 1. 16 Getting started Charging the battery The battery is partially charged when shipped. Before you turn on and start using myTouch 4G Slide, it is recommended that you charge the battery.
