Monitor
The Cisco PVM monitor function provides near real-time and real-time access to resource data, as well
as summary views of aggregated traffic data with drill-down capability, formatted into tables and graphs
for troubleshooting and analyzing current network performance. Cisco PVM displays individual and
aggregated NAM metrics, including displays for single NAM data sources, for multiple NAM data
aggregated across the network, and for all NAMs. Additionally, the Monitor tab

Chapter 3 Monitor Monitor Navigation Monitor Navigation Menu The Cisco PVM Generate Reports navigation menu categorizes monitoring and reports into suites. When the Monitor GUI opens, the system automatically runs the Overview report but hides the Generate Reports menu. Clicking the expand icon at the far left side of the Monitor GUI opens the Generate Reports menu (Figure 3-2), defaulted to Overview, with the report suite names displayed next to individual suite expansion icons.
