INSTALLING THE PHONE Your four-line phone should be placed on a level surface such as a desk or table top, or you can mount it on a wall. A desktop/wall mounting pedestal is packaged with your phone. CONNECTING THE AC (ELECTRICAL) POWER Plug the power supply cord into the jack marked 6VAC on the back of the base. Then plug the other end into an electrical outlet. SETTING A PHONE ID (STATION ID) When the Line 1 telephone cord and AC power supply cords are properly installed, the unit automatically searches and sets up a Phone ID (Station ID) which shows in the display.
