1 BEFORE USING EQUIPMENT BASIC Menu for the Copier Function When a few seconds have passed after you have turned the power ON, the BASIC menu for the copier function appears on the touch panel. For the recommended paper, refer to the Quick Start Guide. Do not place paper with mixed sizes or paper types in the same drawer. For acceptable copy paper, see the following page: P.11 “Acceptable copy paper” Turn the power of this equipment ON. 1 Pull out a drawer carefully until it comes to a stop. 2 Push the part shown with an arrow (right side) of the 3 side guide to unlock it. 1 BEFORE USING EQUIPMENT Move the end guide to the trailing edge of the paper 5 while pushing its lower part in the direction of the arrows. While holding the green lever of the front side guide, 6 adjust the side guides to the paper size. Adjust the side guides with both hands. Confirm that there is no extra gap between the paper 7 and the side or end guides. If the gap between the paper and the side or end guides is too big, this equipment may not be able to detect the size of the paper,

When paper size is set to be detected automatically: When [AUTO (mm)] or [AUTO (inch)] has been selected for the paper size, the following procedure is not required. The paper size is set automatically. Press the [USER FUNCTIONS] button on the control 1 panel. Press the [USER]
