POWER CONNECTIONS A separate electrical circuit should be used for your machines. This circuit should not be less than #12 wire and should be protected with a 20 Amp time lag fuse. 3. 240 VOLT SINGLE PHASE OPERATION GROUNDED OUTLET BOX The motor supplied with your machine is a dual voltage, CURRENT 120/240 volt motor. It is shipped ready-to-run for 120 CARRYING PRONGS volt operation. However, it can be converted for 240 volt operation. A qualified electrician should do the conversion, or the machine can be taken to an Authorized Delta Service Center. FUNCTIONAL DESCRIPTION FOREWORD Delta Models 36-978 and 36-979 are left-tilting 10" contractor saws with a built-in mobility kit. The saws have a powerful 1½ HP induction motor which can handle tough cutting operations. The 36-978 comes with sheet metal wings and the 36-979 comes with cast iron wings.
