Connections and Setup ANTENNA/CABLE ANTENNA/CABLE Get the Picture ANALOG INPUT DIGITAL INPUT The fi rst part of connecting your TV is to get the picture, also known as the signal. The back panel of your TV allows you to receive analog channels by using the ANTENNA/CABLE ANALOG INPUT and digital channels by using the ANTENNA/CABLE DIGITAL INPUT. Connections and Setup Plug in the TV Plug the end of the power cord into the back of the TV. Plug the other end into a grounded wall outlet. Insert the plug completely into the outlet. Do not plug into an outlet controlled by a light switch. Put Batteries in the Remote • Remove the battery compartment cover from the back of the remote by pushing the tab and lifting off the cover. • Insert two fresh batteries. Make sure the polarities (+ and -) are aligned correctly. • Replace the cover.

Using the TV’s Features Par ental Controls and V-Chip The choices in the US V-Chip and Canada V-Chip menus involve software inside your TV (referred to as V-Chip) which allows you to block TV programs and movies.
