Using the Transmitter Transmitter Range The transmitter and headset communicate via radio frequency (RF), so a direct line of sight is not required. The operating range is approximately 30 feet. When you’re out of range, you may hear popping or clicking sounds if the headset loses the RF signal. Pairing the X41 Headset and Transmitter The headset and transmitter in this package are “paired”, which means they’re synchronized to ensure they work together.
