3-1 Disconnecting the FireWire 1394dock Perform the following steps to disconnect the FireWire 1394dock from your computer. 1. Turn off the power by sliding the power switch on the 1394dock to the OFF position. (Note that the drive icon will disappear from the computer screen.) 2.
