In general, locate them away from obstructions that would interfere with the direct path from the speakers to your ears (such as walls, furniture, lighting, plants, etc.). See Figure 7 below. This will replace the foam normally held in place by the speaker grille and will insure that you get maximum performance from your S-5000s.
