Installation 2 Important! Your telephone system must be programmed for Auto Preference for your button to work. If there is a shared digital telephone, you receive internal system dial tone automatically after picking up the handset of your deskset. Installation Connect Telephone Cords Step 2: Connect Telephone Cords Your cordless digital telephone can be used as a stand-alone telephone or in conjunction with your deskset.
