Installing your television for the first time Installing your television for the first time First plug the television into a mains power outlet and to the external aerial or a cable network, then switch on using the ON/OFF switch located on the front or the side of your set. When you switch on your television for the first time, the language selection menu* is displayed (Fig. 1). Automatic installation Automatic installation The Automatic installation function is useful if you have to go through the installation procedure again, such as when moving house. This function deletes all previously memorised programmes. To install a new channel, you should use the Manual programming function. Daily viewing List of Channels LIST This list contains up to 10 pages. The number of pages depends on Exit the number of programmes memorized.
