Quick Start Guide 7 4. Installing the SIM Card, Battery, and Storage Card Make sure your phone is turned off before installing the SIM card, battery, and storage card. You also need to remove the back cover before you can install the battery and SIM card. To remove the back cover 1. Firmly hold the phone with both hands and the front panel facing down. 2. Push the back cover down with your thumb until it disengages from the phone. Push down from this corner

Locate the SIM card Cut-off corner slot, and then insert the SIM card with its gold contacts facing down and its cut-off corner facing out the card slot. 2. Slide the SIM card completely into the slot. To install the battery 1. Align the battery’s exposed copper contacts with the battery connectors inside the battery compartment. 2. Set up your phone for the first time When you turn on the phone for the first time and after touching the Android image, you will be prompted to sign in to your Google™ Account. If you decide not to sign in to your Google Account, you can still use the phone but you won’t be able to use

Slide your finger horizontally across the screen to go to the left or right extended Home screen. Tip While on an extended Home screen, press HOME to return to the main Home screen.
