Stop a leak by tightening the loose joint or by replacing the faulty part with a replacement part recommended by the manufacturer. Using Your Firepit or Fireplace Using Your Firepit or Fireplace Always keep the appliance area clear and free from combustible materials, gasoline and any other flam- mable vapors and liquids. For fireplaces with a waterfall, make sure that there is no debris in the filler pan. The pump will recircu- late water up through the fireplace and then filter down the sides and front. It is also important that you maintain a consistent water level. Running the pump dry will burn out the pump motor. DO

If the burner does not light before the match goes out, immediately turn the gas valve to “OFF”. 4. Wait at least five minutes to clear out any gas.
