OPERATION Operation HOW TO LIGHT THE FIRE High-Low 1. STOP! Read the safety information on the Gas Control front cover. 2. If using the optional thermostat, set thermostat to the lowest setting. 3. Turn off electric power to the appliance. 4. Turn the ON-OFF/THERMOSTAT switch to the OFF position. 5. Push in the gas control knob slightly and turn it clockwise to "OFF." NOTE: THE KNOB CANNOT BE TURNED FROM "PILOT" TO "OFF" UNLESS IT IS PUSHED IN SLIGHTLY. DO NOT FORCE IT. 6. Wait five (5)

Only For Qualified Installers INSTALLATION Installing Fireplace To use Drywall Bracket Victorian Face Nails When installing the fireplace to use the Victo- rian Face the unit must be positioned back 1/2 inch farther than with an arch face. Only For Qualified Installers INSTALLATION Mounting The Victorian Face 1. Place fiberglass rope in sealing angle with angle mounting bolts loose. 2. Place the face on the fireplace starting at the bottom. 3. Slide the face into place and install the four bolts as shown at left. 4.
