Removing the Battery Caution!: The display on your handset is made of glass or acrylic and could break if your handset is dropped or if it receives significant impact or excessive pressure, which could void the warranty (For more information, refer to “Standard Limited Warranty” on page 173.) Use the Travel Adapter The travel adapter rapidly charges your phone from any 120/220 VAC outlet. 1. Plug the large end of the Travel Adapter into a standard 120 VAC or 220 VAC wall outlet. Important!: For connection to an electrical supply not located in North America, you must use an adaptor of the proper configuration for the power outlet. Use of the wrong adapter could damage your phone and void your warranty. Getting Started 9

Turn Your Phone Off With the phone open, press and hold for two or more seconds. Your phone powers off. Note: If your phone is on and you press for less than one second, the phone will not power off. Closed View of Your Phone Features 1. Volume Key — Lets you adjust the ring volume in Standby mode, adjust the voice volume during a call, or mute the ringer during an incoming call.
