SCOOTER TILLER CONTROLS (FIG 7) Speed Controls The speed control allows you to set a speed between slow (turtle) and fast (rabbit). DRIVE/FREEWHEEL OPERATION (FIG 8) The drive/freewheel lever (yellow ball handle) is located under the seat at the right rear of unit. This lever allows you to disengage the drive mechanism and push the scooter while in freewheel mode. To disengage the drive mechanism (neutral), move the lever forward (the scooter can now be pushed). To re-engage the drive mechanism (drive), move the lever backward (now the unit may be driven). EXTRA GUIDELINES IN THE CONTROL OF YOUR SCOOTER Ramps The stability of your scooter is governed by several factors such as the seating position, the angle of the slope and your height and weight.
