10 ENGLISH PREPARING FOR USE Machine Packaging The original packaging has been designed and constructed to protect the machine during transport. We recommend keeping the packaging material for possible future transport. Preparing for use 1 Remove the coff ee bean hopper lid and the drip tray with grill from the packaging. 2 Remove the machine from the packaging. 3 For best use, it is recommended to: • Choose a safe, level surface, where there will be no danger of over- turning it or being in

ENGLISH 11 5 Remove the water tank. 6 Rinse the water tank with fresh water. MAX 7 Fill the water tank with fresh water up to the MAX level and reinsert it into the machine. Make sure it is fully inserted. Caution: Never fi ll the water tank with warm, hot, sparkling water or any other liquid, as this may cause damage to the water tank and the machine. 8 Slowly pour the coff ee beans into the coff ee bean hopper.
