OPERATION SWITCH See Figure 6. To turn your drill ON, depress the switch trigger. To turn it OFF, release the switch trigger. VARIABLE SPEED See Figure 6. This tool has a variable speed switch that delivers higher speed and torque with increased trigger pressure. Speed is controlled by the amount of switch trigger depression. OPERATION TO DECREASE ADJUSTING ADJUSTABLE TORQUE CLUTCH TORQUE RING This drill is equipped with an adjustable torque clutch for driving different types of screws into different materials. OPERATION DRILLING See Figure 12. When drilling hard smooth surfaces use a center punch to mark desired hole location. This will prevent the drill bit from slipping off center as the hole is started. However, the low speed feature allows starting holes without center punching if desired. To accomplish this, simply operate the drill at a low speed until the hole is started. The material to be drilled should be secured in a vise or with clamps to keep it from turning as the drill bit rotate
