Connect an Ethernet network cable to the LAN port of the Network Attached Storage. Then connect the other end of the cable to a switch, router, or PC. 2. You will have to run the Network Attached Storage’s Setup Wizard on your PC to set up the Network Attached Storage’s basic settings. Setup Wizard 1. Select Dynamic IP Address if you already have a DHCP server, such as a router, assigning IP addresses to your network devices. Select Fixed IP Address if you will set the Network Attached Storage’s IP address and network information. Click the Next button to proceed or the Back button to return to the previous screen. To use the Network Attached Storage as a DHCP server, select Enable DHCP Server. Then enter the range of IP addresses you want to assign on your network. The final fields of the Start and Finish IP Addresses can range from 2 to 253. Enable DHCP Server. Select this feature only if you want the Network Attached
