INSTALLING THE PHONE Your four-line phone should be placed on a level surface such as a desk or table top, or you can mount it on a wall. A desktop/wall mounting pedestal is packaged with your phone. CONNECTING THE AC (ELECTRICAL) POWER Plug the power supply cord into the jack marked 6VAC on the back of the base. Then plug the other end into an electrical outlet. CAUTION: Use only the ATLINKS USA, Inc. 5-2495 power supply that came with this unit. Using other power supplies may damage the unit.

SETTING A PHONE ID (STATION ID) When the Line 1 telephone cord and AC power supply cords are properly installed, the unit automatically searches and sets up a Phone ID (Station ID) which shows in the display. To set your own Phone ID, or change your phone ID, follow the menu options, or press EXIT to start using the phone. NOTE: • If the phone cannot find an ID, determine if there are too many phones connected to the system. A maximum of 16 phones can be connected in the system. • The Phone ID

SYSTEM VERIFICATION The following procedures should be used to test the system’s configuration and identify possible line connection errors. The phone must be connected to the AC power outlet, Line 1 must be connected to the LINE 1 + 2 jack, and the phone must have a phone ID (Station ID) number.
