To load the battery 1. Open the battery cover. Slide the lock in the direction indicated by the arrow and the battery cover will open. 2 1 Lock 2. Load the battery. Preparing a Memory Card Though the camera has built-in memory that can be used to store images and movies, you probably will want to purchase a commercially available memory card for greater capacity. The camera does not come with a memory card. Images recorded while a memory card is loaded are saved to the memory card. To shoot a snapshot 1. Remove the lens cap and then press [r] (REC) to turn on the camera. 2. Set the mode dial to t (Auto). 3.
