TANK FILLING Assure proper water hardness. Recommended water hardness is 3 grains or less per gallon. Higher hardness may cause excessive formation of lime scale. Chlorides must not exceed 50 ppm. EMPTY STRAINER BASKETS DURING OPERATION AS NECESSARY The Strainer Baskets must be emptied periodically during operation to prevent them from over filling, which would adversely affect dishwasher operation. STOP the machine and open the access doors; Strainer Baskets are immediately inside at the front of the tanks. CLEANING The dishwasher MUST be thoroughly cleaned at the end of each working shift or after each meal. Push the Power key on the keypad to turn the machine OFF. CLEANING THE BLOWER-DRYER AIR FILTER At least twice each month, the air filter (when present, Fig. 30) on the blower-dryer should be removed and cleaned in a sink with warm soapy water and hosed off with clean water.
