LOCATING YOUR HEATER FOR SAFE PROPER COMBUSTION Carefully select the location of your new heater. For your safety and for proper heater operation, you must provide an abundant supply of combustion air and install a proper vent. The heater may still operate even when improperly installed. However, an improper installation will be less efficient and may damage the heater.
