8 Basics Bottom cover Removing the bottom cover Remove the bottom cover to access the battery compartment, SIM card slot, and storage card slot. 1. With the phone turned off, hold your phone securely with the front facing down. 2. With your thumbs, push the bottom cover out to remove it. Replacing the bottom cover 1.
