I GETTING STARTED TO SETUP YOUR KROWN 100 Place your Krown 100 near your telephone. GETTING STARTED (CONT.) BATTERY POWER INFORMATION Your Krown 100 is designed to operate from AC (house electricity) power. The battery is used for backup memory. If you unplug the AC adapter from the machine, the Ni-Cad battery will operate for approximately 1/2 hours when fully charged. The batteries will automatically recharge whenever the unit is plugged into the AC charger/adapter and the TDD is turned OFF. To help the battery last longer, let it run down until the Power Light turns green. T

IV THE MEMORY The Krown 100 allows you to store 32,768 (32 KB) characters in its Random Access Memory (RAM). You can store frequently used messages, or save on long distance charges by preparing a message ahead of time.
