Controls and Indicators KEY SWITCH The key switch is mounted on the instrument panel to the right of the steering column ( Figure 4) . It has three positions: OFF , ON and ST AR T . T o start the vehicle, place the Forward/Reverse handle in the NEUTRAL position and turn the key past the ON position to the ST AR T position and hold until the engine is running smoothly .
