English GROUND FAULT CIRCUIT INTERRUPT (GFCI) On HITACHI generator models (E43, E60, E71), all 20 Amp receptacles are protected by a ground fault circuit interrupt (GFCI). The GFCI shuts off the power to the receptacle when it senses small imbalances caused by current leakage to the ground.
