Adding the handset to your telephone base Adding and registering a handset About expansion handsets Before using a new TL30100 handset, you must register it with the AT&T TL32100/TL32200/TL32300 telephone system (purchased separately), the telephone system can accommodate up to five handsets. You may need to deregister your handsets if: • You have five registered handsets and need to replace a handset. -OR- • You wish to change the designated handset number of your registered handsets. You must first deregister ALL the handsets, and then register each handset you wish to use again, one at a time. You might have moved out of range. • If the previous suggestions don’t work, disconnect the telephone base from the telephone wall jack and connect to a different telephone.
