3. Preparations before Use 3.1 Battery Installation Install the battery by following the steps: Fig.3-1 Open the battery cover by sliding it downwards. Place the battery into the compartment. Ensure the metal contacts of the battery are in the same orientation as the battery contacts in the battery compartment. Charge the battery before use. 3.6 Install the PC Camera Driver 3.6.1 Automatic installation of Camera drivers Before connecting the digital video camera with a computer, the device driver has to be installed.
