Getting Acquainted Application Window The DX4500/DX4600 application window provides a user-friendly graphical user interface (GUI) that allows you to operate and configure the system through the front panel, remote control, or mouse. Configuration of the unit is accomplished through the setup window. The application window toolbar provides quick access to all of the operational controls to view, record, playback, search and copy/backup video data. Figure 1. Application Window ì View Panels: D

GUI Toolbar The DX4500/DX4600 GUI toolbar is used to access the setup menus, dialog boxes, and controls that allow you to operate and configure the DVR. You can use the USB mouse to easily and quickly change settings and operate the system. You can also operate the DX4500/DX4600 from the front panel and remote control to perform the same functions. A client software application running on a computer allows you to remotely operate and perform administrative tasks on the DVR. Figure 2. GUI Too
