Using the backlight If you have difficulty seeing the information on your WorkPad c3 companion, you can use the backlight to illuminate your screen. To activate the backlight: ■ Press the power button and hold it down for about two seconds. Release the button when the backlight turns on. An additional connection is made from the back of the cradle’s serial (COM) port connector to the AC adapter which plugs into any AC current outlet. AC adapter Recharging the battery The WorkPad c3 companion contains a Lithium-ion battery that is recharged each time you place the companion in the cradle. You never need to replace the battery.
