Chapter 1: Getting Started ATTACHING THE MUSIC STAND The DG8 is shipped with a music stand that attaches easily to the top of the instrument: 1. Remove the music stand from its plastic wrapping and extend the braces away from the front of the stand approximately 5 - 6 inches.
