Selecting the receive mode The unit combines the functions of facsimile and telephone as well as providing a TAM (Telephone Answering Machine) interface. This unit has two types of receive modes; AUTO RECEIVE and MANUAL RECEIVE. —When you are unable to answer, set the AUTO RECEIVE mode. —When you are available, set the MANUAL RECEIVE mode.
