REMOTE CONTROL All the functions can be controlled with the remote control. Some functions can also be adjusted with the buttons on the front panel of the set. Before you use the remote control, please install the batteries. INSERTING BATTERIES 1. Remove the battery cover by pulling it upward in the direction shown by the arrow. 2. BASIC OPERATION BASIC OPERATION TURNING THE TV ON AND OFF Standby Setup: The AC-DC converter and the AC power cordmust be set up and connected to have the TV in standby mode ready to be turned on. SETTING UP TV SETTING UP TV PROGRAMME PROGRAMME Once you have preset the programmes, you will be able to use the PR ▲▼ or NUMBER buttons to scan the programmes you pro- grammed. Programmes can be tuned using automatic or manual modes. PAGING THROUGH A PROGRAMME LIST There are 10 programme table pages each containing 100 programmes. Pressing the PR or VOL ▲ ▼ button repeatedly turns the pages.
