ART1 INPUTS AND FUNCTIONS Back Panel Diagram • AUX IN: Connect optional auxiliary equipment to this 3.5mm analog stereo input connector. • TIME SET: Press to begin the Set Clock function. • FM ANTENNA: Connect an FM antenna to the 75 Ohm F-connector. • EXTERNAL AM ANTENNA: Use to connect a 300 Ohm AM loop antenna. BASIC OPERATION Power/Standby Mode When the unit is plugged in it automatically assumes standyby mode, with the clock displayed (see images below). ART1 Adjusting the Volume Turn the VOLUME control clockwise to increase the volume or counter-clockwise to decrease the volume. You can adjust the volume from 0 (lowest) to 64 (highest). Mute Audio Touch the top of the wooden cabinet during audio playback mode (AM/FM/IPOD/AUX/NATURE) to mute the audio output, as indicated by the speaker icon in the upper right corner of the display screen. ART1 Nap Mode Nap mode allows you to quickly set an alarm to sound after four possible time periods: 30 MIN, 60 MIN, 90 MIN or SELECT MINS (selectable time between 1-120 minutes).
