Hitachi Data Systems Model 9960 Array Frames Array frames 1-4 of the 9960 contain up to 96 Hard Disk Drive Assemblies (HDDs) and communication interfaces to the Control Frame. Array frames 5-6 contain up to 64 drives for a total of 512 drives for a maximum configured system. An Array Frame is shown in Figure 5.
