(d) Add distilled water in each cell until battery acid reaches level specified by battery manufacturer. This helps purge excessive gas from cells. Do not overfill. For a battery without cell caps, carefully follow manufacturer’s recharging instructions. (e) Study all battery manufacturer’s specific precautions such as removing or not removing cell caps while charging and recommended rates of charge. ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS 1. When unpacking, check to make sure that the product is intact and undamaged. If any parts are missing or broken, please call Harbor Freight Tools at the number on the cover of this manual as soon as possible. 2. This product comes preassembled.
