Charging the Battery Charging the Battery Starting Up You will need to charge the BF-1 before you use it for the first time. Turning the Power On / Making Initial Settings ■ Heart Rate Starting Up This lets you register your resting heart rate and maximum heart rate. The resting heart rate can be simply measured by placing your fingers on your wrist and counting the pulse during one minute, or by counting the pulse Exercising over 15 seconds and multiplying by four.
