Connect your XP-80 The XP-80 does not contain an amp or speakers. In order to hear sound, you will need to con- nect it to a keyboard amp, audio system, or headphones. Refer to the following diagram and connect the XP-80 to the external equipment you are using. Turn the power on Once the connections have been completed (p.6), turn on power to your various devices in the order specified. Play a demo song The XP-80 contains a demo song and you use ‘demo play’ to play it. It’s the easiest introduction to the XP-80’s exceptional sounds and effects.
