INSTALLATION Installing the Card The OpenComms Web Card is hot swappable and user-serviceable. Although you do not need to turn off the UPS, disconnect any loads, or restart the UPS to install or remove the card, discretion should be used. CAUTION: The Intellislot Bay is located in close proximity to the UPS' output and the UPS' electrical receptacles. Whenever possible, you should turn the UPS OFF when installing the card. Service Terminal Opening a Service Terminal Connection This section covers the Service Terminal in detail. From the Service Ter- minal, you can configure all settings of the card. NOTE: You can also configure many of the setting discussed in this sec- tion from the Web.
