11 Hardware overview The Business Services Gateway 8-port (BSG8ew) and Business Services Gateway 12-port (BSG12ew/aw/tw) are integrated multiservice gateway products that provide application-level support for voice, data, and video. The three product variations offered for the BSG12ew/aw/tw are the BSG12ew with Ethernet WAN, BSG12aw with ADSL/ADSL2+WAN, and BSG12tw with T1/E1 WAN.
