Before Using the Scanner Safe Operation In order to ensure safe operation, be certain to read the cautions described below. Removing the Protective Packing Materials Remove all of the protective packing materials (marked ▼ in the diagrams) before using the scanner. 1. Remove the protective tape from the scanner. 2.
