Hardware Reference - Flextight 848 20 Calibrating the Scanner Calibrating the Scanner The scanner requires two types of calibration:  Focus calibration adjusts the positioning of the scanners optics for each zoom level. If your scans are coming out unfocused or at slightly the wrong size, then you may need to make a new focus calibration to adjust the zoom mechanism. The focus calibration is stored in the scanners flash PROM, so it is preserved when you move the scanner to a new computer. See "
