INSTALLING HARD DISK DRIVES You must install the data storage hard disk drives supplied with the NVR300 unit. Note that the system drive is installed at the factory. WARNING: Handle the hard disk drives with care. Improper handling can easily damage the drives. IDENTIFYING THE NVR300 ON THE NETWORK To identify the NVR300 on the network, do the following: 1. Log in to Windows XP as a user by clicking the NVR300 icon. 2.
