14 basic features Playback Playback is the most basic operation possible with your VCR. Audio-visual information recorded on a cassette will be played back on your TV screen just like a broadcast programme. Load a Video Cassette Make sure that the window side of the cassette is facing up and the spine label is before you start facing away from the VCR.
